For our main podcast review this week, Eve O’Dea, Josh Parham, Daniel Howat, Cody Dericks & guest Johnny Sobczak all join me to discuss one of the most anticipated films of 2022: “The Batman” starring Robert Pattinson, ZoĆ« Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis & Colin Farrell. Directed by Matt Reeves, this epic 176-minute long neo-noir plunges audiences into the dark world of Gotham City, only two years into Bruce Wayne’s tenure as the crime-fighting vigilante known as Batman. It’s a grounded and seriously dark take on the character, one that is separated from the rest of the DCEU and really focuses on his skills as a detective. What did we think of Reeves’ vision for the character, the film’s crafts, the performances by the cast, and its awards potential? We discuss all of these points and more in our review down below. Enjoy!
