The Next Best Picture Podcast – Recap Of The 2022 Sundance Film Festival

By Matt Neglia

After a week’s hiatus, the Next Best Picture Podcast is back with a recap of the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. It was another consecutive year of watching films virtually from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the quality of filmmaking and sense of discovery one experiences at the famous indie film festival was still as prevalent as ever. Joining me for this recap, I have our own Amy Smith & Cody Dericks along with guests The Oscar Expert (Cole) and Brother Bro (Justin). What were some of the highlights and disappointments for us? Which films do we feel have awards season potential to last the rest of the year until the 95th Academy Awards? Please tune in below to find out and enjoy!
