“The Iron Claw” tells the unbelievable true story of the Von Erich wrestling family, from their soaring heights in the territory days of wrestling in Dallas, Texas, during the 1980s to their crushing lows, which resulted in unimaginable tragedy for the whole family. Director/Writer Sean Durkin felt a tremendous responsibility in bringing this well-known wrestling story to the big screen, and his cast, which includes Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson, and Stanley Simons, was more than up to the task to make sure they got the art of professional wrestling right as well as the personal and deeply felt story of a family torn apart by tragedy. Durkin, Allen White, and Dickinson were kind enough to lend us some moments of their time to talk about their work on the film, which you can listen to below. Please check out the film, which is now playing in theaters from A24 and is up for your consideration in all eligible categories at this year’s Academy Awards. Thank you, and enjoy!
