This week, Sara Clements, Casey Lee Clark & Dan Bayer join me for our second podcast review of the newest film from filmmaker David Lowery, “The Green Knight,” starring Dev Patel, Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton & Sean Harris. The fantasy epic has divided audiences and united critics with its meditative and beautiful approach to the Arthurian poem it is based on. Filled with symbolism and no easy answers to its challenging questions about its themes, we have many interpretations of this new work of art from Lowery. As a result, this is a spoiler-filled discussion, so please don’t listen if you have not already seen the movie. What did we think of the story, the craftsmanship, performances, and the many themes the film is working with? Tune in below to listen to us help each other sort our thoughts, and enjoy!
