The final films have been added to the 2025 Cannes Film Festival Lineup. “Resurrection” from director Bi Gan has been added to the competition. His previous film, “Long Day’s Journey Into Night,” premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section. His new sci-fi film tells the story of “A woman whose consciousness falls into the eternal time zone during a surgical procedure. Trapped in many dreams, she finds an android corpse and tries to wake it up by telling endless stories.” Also joining the festival is “13 Jours, 13 Nuits” from director Martin Bourboulon, which will premiere Out of Competition. In addition, there will be a special screening of Eugene Jarecki’s Julian Assange documentary “The Six Billion Dollar Man” and “Ma Frère,” from filmmakers Lise Akoka and Romane Gueret, will receive a Premiere screening.
